The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Edmonton, Alberta.
This Accredited 2-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy.
Edmonton is the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta, and is well known for its scenic river valley and a thriving music and art community. Edmonton is home to North America's largest shopping and entertainment complex, West Edmonton Mall.
More than just a shopping centre, West Edmonton Mall also has a giant water park, a man-made lake, a skating rink, two mini-golf courses, 21 movie theatres, a Vegas-style casino and an amusement park with 25 rides and attractions.
The photograph at the top of this page is of the “Lunchbreak” statue, which is a well known piece of art in Edmonton and is found at the north end of Sir Winston Churchill Square facing City Hall in downtown Edmonton. When the square was renovated from for the City's Centennial in 2004 this statue was moved to it's current position from inside the square.
Edmonton is also widely known as the Festival City, and for good reason! Its vibrant arts and cultural scene is reflected in more than 30 events and festivals, indoors and out, year-round.
The Edmonton scene gets larger, more complex and richer each year with food-focused activities. Fancy national magazines now send out writers from Toronto to chronicle Edmonton’s leading-edge dining scene.
The city’s soul has been enriched by the opening of interesting independent coffee houses with interesting menus that cater to specific neighbourhoods – Strathearn’s Juniper Café, Riverdale’s Little Brick Café, the Belgravia HUB, Square 1 Coffee (Aspen Gardens/Westbrook) and The Woodrack Café on 109 St. at 76 Ave. The collective soul will surely benefit from the new craft-brewery houses in town.

Finally, an accredited pediatric massage certification program for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their practice by providing massage therapy and nurturing touch for pediatric clients. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.
Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.
As a CPMT, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized care through touch therapy to children who need it most.
