Artifact Coffee, located in the redeveloped Union Mill in the Hampden area, is a great café located in the Woodberry neighborhood. The drinks and food all follow a seasonal farm to table ethos. Baristas will serve seasonal, direct-trade coffee, manually brewed to order. Artifact's changing menu, with all items under $15, includes house-made pastries; soups, salads, and sandwiches for lunch; and suppers, including homemade pastas, braised meats, and stews. A favorite is the “basil mint creamy”.
Pazo is a luxurious restaurant that was transformed from a rusting 19th-century machine shop into a striking dining space. The 13th Floor is a lounge located on the top floor of The Belevdere which is one of the oldest and best views in the city.
Check out the Golden West Café which serves up a spicy southwestern menu including vegan and vegetarian option. Looking for something a bit more relaxed? Johnny Rad’s is an eclectic skate punk pizza joint with vegetarian and vegan options and a great beer selection.
Ready to explore? Besides just the awesome Science Center and the Baltimore National Aquarium, Baltimore has a cool pirate ship that tours the Harbor! Kids and their families dress up and learn pirate speak and songs, and even get "attacked" by another pirate on a little speed boat. On weekends, the pirate ship holds adult BYOB night tours.

Finally, a Peer-to-peer based healthy touch initiative which utilizes respect, healthy boundaries and permission at the core of the program. This program, and training, is focused on educators, healthcare professionals, massage therapists and families who wish to expand the practices of providing healthy touch for children, and understanding of the benefits and use of healthy touch with their peers.
The Liddle Kidz Foundation course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of children’s touch therapy.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.
Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.
With the Kidz in Contact® Program, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized education to educators, families and children to best use healthy touch!
